Feather Rock Boulders –  These amazing boulders are often referred to as pumice boulders. The medium grey color of the volcanic rock is quite striking and very pretty. Works great for homeowners because of its manageable weight, and ability to match with any type of landscape. Sizes – 18-24”; 24-30”

Rose Quartz Boulders – Rugged type boulder with jagged edges, this unique boulder is quite striking from afar. The grey mica flakes running throughout the stone shimmer in the sunlight, accenting the rose and pink colors of the boulder itself. Works great as an accent in any landscape. Sizes – 18-24”; 24-30”

Black Obsidian Boulders – Rugged type boulder with jagged and sharp edges. This boulder’s unique look comes from the high sheen outsides and true black coloration. Obsidian is a volcanic rock, originating from when magma cooled very quickly. Works great as an accent in the landscape. Sizes – 18-24”; 24-30”

Pink Ice Boulders – Rugged type boulder. Pink and rose color stone with white veins throughout. Sizes – 15-18”; 18-24”

Autumn Haze Boulders – Rounded and smoothed river boulders, generally buff and tan in color. Works well with any beige, brown or warm colored house. Sizes – 18-24”

West Mountain Boulders – Another popular Pennslyvannia favorite among homeowners and landscapers alike. Its brightly colored oranges, golds, and tans mix with some black and pink to create a very vibrant look standing out from any beige or cream house. Sizes – 18-24”; 24-30”

Fieldstone Boulders – One of the most common types of stone used in the area. Its widely available in a variety of sizes and shapes. Its natural hues of brown, grey and some maroons is complimented by lichen and moss that commonly comes on the pieces of stone. Sizes – 18-24”; 24-30”

Canadian River Boulders- Rounded and smoothed river boulders, generally mixed in colors. Tan, creams, pinks and roses are the most common colors found within the Canadian River Boulder family. Sizes – 18-24”

Moss Rock Boulders –Rugged type of boulder with jagged edges. One of our most popular types! Grey/Blue colors accented with tans, many pieces with moss growing on tops of stone. Works great for creating any type of natural or woodland setting. Also works great for watergardens. Sizes – 18-24”; 24-30”

Delaware River Boulders- Rounded and smoothed river boulders, generally light in color with varying shades of grey, blue, and, tans. Some may resemble a granite texture. A wide varying stone, it is also one of our most popular types. Sizes – 18-24”; 24-30”

PA River Boulders – Rounded and smoothed river boulders, Dark in color with browns and greys. Sizes – 18-24”; 24-30”

One-Man Boulders – Great for the homeowner in need of a small boulder or accent for the landscape. Weighing between 15-50lbs, they are significantly smaller than the landscape size boulders we also stock. Pick a couple out, weigh them up, and pile them in the car, its as easy as that! Patio Stone, Flagstone & Natural Stone

Colonial Steps/Risers – Coming from the Pocono and Northeast region of Pennsylvania. Its colors range from blue, grey, and green with veins of rust running through some pieces. . Sizes available – 30-48” x 4-7”H

Fieldstone Steps/Risers – Its widely available in a variety of sizes and shapes. Its natural hues of brown, grey and some maroons is complimented by lichen and moss that commonly comes on the pieces of stone. 2 Sizes available – 30-36” x 4-6”H ; 40-48” x 4-8”H

Rustic Tumbled Garden Path –Stone pieces are put through the tumbling process rounding out sharp edges and smoothing the surfaces making this a very easy product to work with. Its smooth texture is comfortable to work with and creates a very New England or country feel to any patio or walkway constructed with it. Place the stones 8-12” apart and grow grass between them for a cottage look! Color is a very nice grey/blue with greens mixed in as well. Very easy to work with! 1 pallet will cover between 150-300 sf depending on its application and exact size of stones within each pallet.

Mountain Mist Flagstone – This uncommon stone from the Appalachians is blue-grey in color with brown mixed in. Streaks of white and rust are not unusual, but only some pieces have these features. Its thin but dense nature makes it superb for a patio stone. The dark colors add quite a contrast to its surroundings, but can be expensive as it is difficult to come by. Sold by the Pallet only. 1 pallet will cover between 150-300 sf depending on its application and exact size of stones within each pallet

Mohave Flagstone – Its grey and rust colored overtones have a rustic finish that cannot be matched in the landscape. Very easy to handle and is durable enough to be used as a patio stone. Flagstone usually comes in large slabs, approx.. 1-2’ x 1-2’, but are easily broken apart with a sledge hammer. 1 pallet will cover between 150-300 sf depending on its application and exact size of stones within each pallet.

Tennessee Sandstone – Tennessee sandstone has a warm golden coloration with bold brown veining appearing throughout in the stone. The bold movement adds a distinctive flair and is ideal for many design projects. 1 pallet will cover between 200-350 sf depending on its application and exact size of stones within each pallet.

Mountain Range Flagstone – Its predominantly gold and tans with browns, rusts, black, on pieces as well. Pink streaks can be seen through some pieces although this is less with Mountain Range. The main advantage over West Mtn. Flagstone is it’s a much smoother stone and will create a much more even surface to place patio furniture on. Flagstone usually comes in large slabs approx. 2-3’ x 2-3’, but are easily broken apart with a sledge hammer. Sold by the Pallet only. 1 pallet will cover between 100-250 sf depending on its application and exact size of stones within each pallet.

Western Sunset Flagstone – Western Sunset is a brightly colored flagstone predominantly white and tan with pink, roses throughout the stone. Being a sandstone in makeup, its very durable and makes for a great addition to brighten up any landscape. Sold by the Pallet only. 1 pallet will cover between 150-300 sf depending on its application and exact size of stones within each pallet.

Pa Irregular Bluestone Full Color – Full Color, as its known, has a wide range of blues, greys, and greens with rust streaks and hues through many of the pieces. Flagstone usually comes in large slabs approx. 2-3’ x 2-3’, but are easily broken apart with a sledge hammer. This popular patio stone creates a great natural look for any application you use it. 1 pallet will cover between 150-300 sf depending on its application and exact size of stones within each pallet.

Indiana Limestone- It’s a soft and porous stone, not often used for patio applications, but is used for accents all the times. Step treads and slab steps provide great additions to any patio or wall project.

Step Treads are sold by the piece. Treads are 2” thick and come in 12”,18” or 24”D x 6’ lengths. Treads come already rock faced.

Desert Gold Quartz –Quartz is common stone but also one of the hardest stones available, surpassing sandstone and slates. Its durability is regarded as very high. Its light cream hues are accented with golds and browns throughout the pieces. The added benefit is its beautiful glimmer and shine makes it appear as though its been sealed, without having to add any harsh chemicals. The surface of this stone is Natural Cleft, although is particularly smooth for this cut. Sold by the SF (length x width) Sizes are in 6” increments from 12×12” to 24”x 24”. Multi-Color Slate –This unique slate comes to us all the way from China. Unlike many other slates in the US, this slate does not have a tendency to flake and separate over time. Its vibrant rust, reds are further enhanced by a backdrop of grey and black tones to combine a stunning display of color for any home. The surface of this stone is Natural Cleft, although is particularly smooth for this cut. Sold by the SF (length x width). Sizes are in 6” increments from 12×12” to 24”x 24”. Natural Cleft Face Only; 1” thickness.

Bronte Stone – Originally comes from India. Like PA Bluestone it is a hard sandstone that keeps its integrity, unlike many slates. Looking at the stone you would say it is the brown and tan version of PA Bluestone. Its predominantly brown and tans with some pieces having some vibrant rusts and reds throughout it. The surface of this stone is Natural Cleft, which means each rectangular piece has been cut on its 4 sides leaving natural ridges on the top and bottom. Step Treads and Slab Steps are also available in this stone to compliment other features of your patio project. Sold by the SF (length x width). Sizes are in 6” increments from 12×12” to 24”x 24”. Natural Wall Stone

Natural Stone has been experiencing a resurgence in popularity in recent years. It is far and away the most durable solution for changing the contours of a landscape. Natural wall stone lasts virtually for ever and creates a look that can not be replicated by engineered wall stone.

Below are the most popular varieties of wall stone we carry. Availability and stock may change with seasons. Pictures of each product are actual pallets, but current stock may vary in color, shape, size as natural variations in stone exist. It is recommended that you visit us to see the stone in person.

West Mountain Wallstone – Its brightly colored oranges, golds, and tans mix with some black and pink to create a very vibrant look standing out from any beige or cream house. It is easy to work with and very manageable. This wallstone is sold by the pallet with approx. 3000lbs/pallet. 2 sizes available – 2-4” and 4-6” thickness

Western Sunset – A brightly colored wallstone predominantly white with pink, rose and tans throughout the stone. Being a sandstone in makeup, its very durable and makes for a great accent wall to brighten up any landscape. This wallstone is sold by the pallet with approx. 3000lbs/pallet. Available in 2-4” thickness

Fieldstone Red – Slightly different from is cousin in that its colors are predominantly maroon and red with some brown and grey mixed in. Crushed & Decorative Stone

Crushed concrete is a recycled product re-distributed as a compactible base for walkways and patios. Sizes of particles range from ¾” – very fine dust creating an easily and effective compactible base. It is commonly used as a compactible base underneath paver and stone walkways, patios, and driveways. Not recommended as a base for stone driveways.
Stone Dust – A byproduct of the crushing process in which other (such as ¾” and 3/8” driveway stone) comes from. It is used primarily for a setting layer in setting patio pavers or flagstones in place of concrete sand. Some other uses for stone dust is in horse barns as a stable surface for horse areas. It is also used as a filler between large pieces of flagstone.
Quarry Blend – A mixture of stone sizes from ¾” – very fine dust creating an easily and effective compactable base. It is commonly used as a compactable base underneath paver and stone walkways, patios, and driveways. Can be used as a base for stone driveways preventing top layers of stone from being absorbed into soil by repeated driving.
3/8″ River Stone – Depth of 2” is preferred for most landscaping purposes. A walkway which will be heavily traveled may need 3” whereas a new driveway could require 3-4”. 1” cover may be good for refreshing new areas, but will be readily absorbed into newly created areas in the soil.
3/4″ River Stone – Depth of 2” is preferred for most landscaping purposes. A walkway which will be heavily traveled may need 3” whereas a new driveway could require 3-4”. 1” cover may be good for refreshing new areas, but will be readily absorbed into newly created areas in the soil.

Garden Steppers & Specialty Stones

Mexican Beach Pebbles – This popular imported stone comes from the Pacific Coast of Mexico.  Their dark black color is a truly unique color to add to any landscape feature in your yard.  The smooth texture on the stones makes them useful in a variety of different applications, from watergardens and Japanese Gardens to accent beds and fountain features.

Kewanee River Rocks – These interesting river rocks come all the way from the Rio Grande River in the Desert Southwest. The unique greys, reds, browns, and white stones combine to create a beautiful look no matter how you use them. Common uses include Japanese Zen Gardens, Accent pieces, bed edges, or around watergardens.
