Hunter Solar Sync Sensor and Module
We would all love to have a personal weather station to tell us when and how much to water our lawns, but that’s just not feasible….until today! Hunter has developed the Solar Sync Sensor and Module.
The Solar Sync continually gathers on-site solar and temperature data used in the calculation of evapotranspiration ( ET ). ET is how much water evaporates from the soil, grass, ect. The Solar Sync determines watering requirements based on temperature, humidity, ect and then can make adjustments taking into account your regional weather characteristics. On those warmer days, the Solar Sync adjusts runtimes as needed. As temperatures drop and solar radiation decreases, the Solar Sync seasonally adjusts your controller. Its really that easy!
