Trees are a very important part of everyone’s landscape. They provide an exciting reminder of the ever changing seasons. Trees supply shade from the scorching sun in the heat of summer. If a shade tree is placed on the southern or western face of a house, energy use in the summer is cut because of the shade that the tree provides. In landscaping, trees can be the focal point of an area. Flowers and shrubs are often placed around a tree. Trees are very important in a landscape, since they are going to provide stability and longevity in the yard.
